Contact form →This usually happens for one of three reasons:
1. Another extension is overriding the new tab. Chrome only allows one
new-tab extension at a time. Go to chrome://extensions and disable any
other new-tab extension (Momentum, Tabby, etc.).
2. Smaraan needs a refresh. Right-click the Smaraan icon → "Manage extension" → toggle off and on. This usually fixes loading issues.
3. You're in Incognito mode. By default, extensions don't run in
Incognito. Enable it via chrome://extensions → Smaraan → Details → Allow in
Incognito.

You can cancel anytime — no questions asked, no retention calls.
Open Smaraan → Settings (⚙️ icon) → Subscription → Cancel Plan. Your Pro features stay active until the end of your current billing period (₹149 for monthly, end of the 12-month cycle for annual).
If you cancelled within 7 days of starting and want a full refund, email us with your registered email and we'll process it within 2 business days.
Click the Smaraan icon in your Chrome toolbar → Settings → Profile. From there you can update:
• Preferred deity: Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesha, Durga, Lakshmi,
Rama, or All
• Display language: English or Hindi (हिंदी)
• Your name: Used in personalized greetings
Changes apply immediately to your next new tab — no refresh needed.
Yes, if you're signed in. Your jaap streaks, mood history, favorite shlokas, and preferences sync across all Chrome browsers where you're logged into the same Smaraan account.
If you haven't signed in yet, your data is stored locally on your current device. When you sign in, we'll silently migrate your existing data to the cloud — no progress lost.
To sign in: Click the Smaraan icon → Sign in with Google.
Short answer: yes, your data is private. No, we don't sell anything to anyone, ever.
Smaraan only collects what's needed to make the product work — your email (for sign-in), your jaap counts, mood selections, and streak history. We use Firebase to sync this securely. We don't share, sell, or rent your data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.

To uninstall: Right-click the Smaraan icon in your Chrome toolbar → "Remove from Chrome." That's it — your local data is wiped instantly.
To delete your cloud account and all synced data: Visit our Data Deletion page and submit your registered email. We'll permanently delete your account within 7 days and send a confirmation email.
If you're a Pro subscriber, please cancel your subscription first to avoid further charges.
